Hey, Dolly Collaboration!

Just listed a new dolly trinket box on eBay.  This was a collaboration with my friend, Tricia, who made a cute blondie girl outfit from my little drawing.    Here's our little collage...

Sharing a WIP and What's to Come...

This little work in progress is not all me.  First, a sweet and talented fellow crafter has agreed to make me something adorable to use for the project.  As a matter of fact, the whole project is her creative and wonderful idea (and I will show you her's soon!).  The first step was to pick out two sets of fabrics.  Now this photo is going to make me look all seamstress talented, isn't it?  I'm not.  My mom bought me the cutting mat, ruler, and cutting rolling scissor thingy.   And I still can't cut a straight line!     I cut them a little bigger than asked, just in case!   Aren't these pretty together?

In the "studio" today I am working on some new tooth fairy boxes.  I've received loads of  lovely comments through my eBay auction, so am motivated to make more!  I need lots to keep me busy while eagerly anticipating our move as I don't get to pack or any of that fun stuff (not!) before we move in to the new apartment.  I can't wait!

Where did she go?

m still here.  My mom has alerted me yet again that I am a bad blogger!  I've just been busy off the computer and off the easel!  What have I been doing?  Cleaning, purging, shopping (growing children....updating me!), yoga, power walks, reading about nutrition and shopaholics, and doing pretty much anything but working!  I needed the break. 

I also finished my very last custom...at least my very last for a long time.   Customs always slow me down and stress me out, so I am going to stop doing them and focus on all these other ideas floating about in my head!  I'm excited to get started!

Oh, I also had a death, a heart issue, sick kids, and all that other crud that comes with life.  But we deal.  The death was my 99 year old grandmother...that's pretty amazing to live to 99, eh?  The heart appears to be fine (mine...probably over did the jogging!) and the sick kids are well (for now).   The other crud isn't worth mentioning (you know, like broken toilet flusher thingies!).

I will try to be a better blogger.  At least I know my mom is still checking in to see what I write!  (Hi, Mom!)
