There is a sweet little 7 year old in my house who will become a sweet (we hope she stays sweet!) little 8 year old this weekend. In lieu of following the school tradition of inviting the whole entire class to come to a rented facility with entertainment (such is LA!), we are having one friend come over and taking her out to lunch. Afterward we have invited all our favorite neighbors to meet us by the pool for cupcakes! This has become our building's tradition and I like it much better...as does my pocketbook! In honor of the occasion, I have started making decorations. This little gal is part of the centerpiece and will be a gift to the birthday girl...
