I had hoped to paint on the balcony here, but it's been too cold! As a matter of fact...it SNOWED last night! Yep...everyone is blaming us for bringing the snow with us. Crazy weather!!!
Anyway...the ginormous master bathroom was useful for a temporary "studio" today while I created this little cutie for the Boutique Gypsies launch...

The outfit she is wearing was inspired from a design created by ebay ID dandelionavenue. Super cute! It felt GREAT to paint again! I have three customs I need to get caught up on, then plan to hopefully come up with some new things. I have ideas...hopefully they will be cute!
LA is taking a bit of getting used to. Have seen many celebs...have a few just a few doors down on each side! Tori Spelling lives on our floor as does Scott Valentine (any Family Ties fans?) who is the nicest man! Dean Cain was in the lobby helping a man having a stroke a couple weeks ago. Saw Lori Laughlin at the drugstore. It's funny...you see these people and your first thought is, "How do I know that person?"..."High school?"...then it hits you...."Oh yeah, I live in LA now". Lots of people, cars, shops, noise....shops. Shopping. Stores. Big trouble for this shopaholic!
The kids' school is AMAZING! LOVE it! We have been there not even two weeks and we've had playdates and invitations up the ying-yang! The kids, staff, and parents are so friendly and normal and amazing! We really lucked out!!
All in all, I think I might grow to like it here. Now if we can just find a decent house for under 1 million!!!
